How to Sell Your Coins
Step 1: Take Pictures
Take a picture of the front of your coins and the back of your coins. You can include more than one coin per picture, but be sure your pictures are clear enough so that the date and mint marks are visible.
Step 2: Text Your Pictures
Text your pictures to our free text line 682-325-7170. Please include you name along with your picture texts. Our numismatist will review the pictures and give you some general values. Selling large coin collections is time consuming and can take multiple hours. The more pictures you send prior to your visit, the smoother and more efficient your coin transaction will be.
Step 3: Schedule Your Appointment
After your text valuation, if our dealer makes you and offer on your coins, let us know the day and time you want to come in and we will set up an appointment for you at our safe and secure office location. At Silver Fox Coins we purchase coins by appointment only for the convenience and safety of our customers.

Coin Appraisals
Coin Appraisals are a documented inventory of coins and values. An appraisal is not a dealer offer, it is an inventory list which is generally produced for legal purposes. At Silver Fox Coins you can purchase a coin appraisal done by our numismatist. Coin appraisals are generally purchased for the following reasons:
Insurance - Most insurance companies require that a professional appraisal be conducted on your coin collection before they'll agree to extend coverage for your valuables.
Estate - This is possibly the most common appraisal that we provide. Typically, we find that when family members pass on, the heirs or beneficiaries of the estate require an appraisal to assess the value. Afterwards, they can then determine if selling the estate collection or distribution of the coins to the heirs best serves their needs.
Probate - While somewhat related to an estate appraisal, most estates that are in probate require an appraisal (sometimes more than one) before the judge will approve the sale of assets. Depending on your situation, the court may approve the immediate sale of your itmes or may delay the sale based on the complexity of the estate.
